| While others are just beginning their fight with multiple midterms, I, for one, had just completed my one and only midterm...and perhaps, my final midterm? There seems to be an awful amount of last and final things during the last semester... good thing I don't have to leave the country afterwards...or else I might be even more sad. For international students, having to leave all the friends and family from their own country to come here, and after you made all these new friends and new life, you have to go back and lose everything here once again. So much leaving and losing...it would probably just be too much for me. Or would it? At least it would be something that I'd rather not do.

| SFU's Convo for the summer is over...however, this convo really makes me feel that time really flies, for the next SFU convo would be mine...unless I really mess up and fail this semester. I remembered when I first entered university, I really wanted to finish school quickly so that I can get school over with and get out into the world... but now, I sorta not want it to end so quickly... Kindergarten, Elementary, Secondary, and Post-Secondary...I think almost 18 years of education in a row...and soon, it's all over. Oh well, there isn't much I can do other than to treasure the remain time that I have left...and make the best out of it!
Congrats to Ken and Edmund on their graduation!

| Watched DaVinci Code on Thursday, it wasn't all that special...to me at least. I thought it wasn't too bad, but pretty average. Just like most movies nowadays...
Went to Metro/Aberdeen/Parker on Friday...Austen finally got the new car, his P5. More leg room, but if you fit 3 people in the back seats, it is still just as crammed. Went to Night Market...seems like the same as before, every year. This year though, there is no Thomas to give us free parking, haha! Sang K afterwards at K-Star. All you can sing! But we only did 4 hours or even less I believe, but it was already 3am and it was cheaper than hourly.
Ate dinner with Edmond and Jeannie on Saturday. Haven't seen Edmond for some time, he is finally graduating after all these years...and soon, me too...sigh, time moves too fast sometimes...
Here are some of the photos from the Seattle trip last monday:
This is us at West Seattle, seems like White Rock to me.

Awesome washrooms in Seattle! Does that look high-tech or what?

Dinner by the water, you can see downtown Seattle right there, great view!

Great food too...mmm~

-edit- ehhhhh...-_- these silly things! but whatever...

| Just came back from a road trip less than 3 weeks ago, and here I am...went on yet another one during Victoria Day long weekend...
Me, Simon, Cindy, Clemence and Howard woke up super early (~5:30am!) and head down to Seattle for our "Seattle seafood and shopping luxurious tour". Lineup was short, but since Clemence was not Canadian, we got to stop by custom anyways. Got down to Premium Outlet by 10. I got 4 items from GAP, shirts and t-shirts. I wanted to get some pants too, but didn't find any good ones. We went down to Seattle afterwards and ate some chowder. 5 different kinds of chowder!!! We looked for this Oyster bar too, but the road that it was supposed to be on (it said so on the map) does not exist...so weird... Walked around some shopping centres and thought about getting "very sexy". At night, we went to Alki Beach in West Seattle for some high class dinner by the waterfront. The restaurant had big windows and we get to watch the sunset and the downtown Seattle skyline. The atmosphere was great. The food was pretty good too! We had king crab, crab, oysters, clam, mussels, prawns, fish...loads of seafood! It wasn't too expensive either, with regards to what we ate. Headed back to Vancouver at around 10pm. Simon seems very tired on the way back though. Of course, I am sure we all were, but he had to drive all day. Overall, it was quite a fun trip. Clemence already started to plan for our next trip even when we were still in Seattle...my poor wallet...

| This was a busy weekend. On Friday, after class, we went over to Ken's place to hang out for a while and played some video games. Tried out some new games, but didn't really liked them. Afterwards, we went to celebrate Howard's birthday with a dinner on Fraser and 41st. Had lots of stuff, like "peking duck", "winter" melon soup, and some other pretty good food. We ended with a dessert, which was some ginger juice mixed with eggs. Of corz, we also got the birthday cake. We decided to go to Metrotown for some gaming, but since there was not enough space on Austen's car, me and Dika had to bus. Well, I didn't mind as long as I did not had to bus alone, and since it was with Dika, it was alright. Finally beated that Midnight racing game, somehow, it was a lot easier than it had seem before...maybe cuz I didn't drive as much now? or something? haha, no idea... Ken wanted to sleep early so we all just went home after the arcade closed.
Saturday was all spent for CLink. I thought I would oversleep since we were out late last night and I slept pretty late. However, I actually woke up just in time, so what the heck. Got there only to find out there was no BM!!! Whatever, went to get something to eat with Ben, got some spicy beef noodles, but damn it's spicy! I think I'll stick to something not spicy next time I eat at that place. Had the GM finally, and actually did a short election. I had never experienced such a short election...hehe. We got some stuff to eat and then went over to Dana's place to hang out. Another beef noodle...argh, but whatever. Dika came by for a bit to eat with us, but then she went shopping for stuff while me, Ken, Howard and Benje stayed at Dana's. We just...sat for 4 hours at her place...wow...and finally Erica came to pick us up to NEE. NEE took place at SFU UniverCity. We went with Simon to check out the place before at night once, it was really a nice place, seems expensive too. The NEE took place at a party hall there. We played mostly kid's games, but they were surprising fun. In fact, I had more fun playing in this NEE than some of the other LG/NEE games. But they were all pretty tiring. Overall though, I thought it was a pretty fun NEE.
Sunday was Mother's Day of course. Decided to stay at home in the morning and get some rest. Woke up at 12pm and tried to do some work, but did not do much. Went out with family for dinner. I made a reservation at a Greek restaurant today. I also made one for the restaurant on Burnaby Mountain, Horizon, but they did not have any space other than 5pm and 7:30pm. 5pm was way too early and we wanted to eat earlier than 7:30. So Greek restaurant it was. I actually never tried the restaurant before, but I checked online for reviews and it had some great reviews on it. It was in Kitsilano, a small restaurant across from the West 4th Safeway. The atmosphere was pretty good, but I thought it would probably be even better if it was darker. My mom thought it was great, so that was good enough. We tried the lamb chops, since Greek food is famous for lamb, while my sister had chicken. It was alright, but somehow, I thought it could be better. It also came with rice and potatoes. But the rice was those "Westerner rice", so it seems so raw to me. The potatoes was super sour, as was the chicken soup that I ordered. There was also some pita bread, which seemed like the most normal thing I had, every other thing was either too sour or more salty than I wanted it to be. I won't say the meal was bad, it was special, I only had ate Greek once, but that was when I was a kid and I don't remember anything about that. So I wanted to try again today, but it wasn't really my taste. My dad wants to try Indian food next time...I hope it will be better.
